Structured beats scraped

Official open-data feeds and structured public datasets are preferred because dates, places and source links can be verified. Random calendar scraping is avoided as a production dependency.

Country fallback prevents an empty product

Wikidata/QLever scheduled events, GDELT local mentions, country sports discovery and country-wide event feeds remain available even when a city lacks a dedicated source.

Coverage gaps stay visible

A limited source is labelled limited. The system does not turn unrelated events into local ones or infer a venue/city that the source did not actually provide.
