Only near the U.S. coast
Tide utility is enabled only when a NOAA CO-OPS tide-prediction station is within the bounded coastal radius of the selected U.S. point. Inland users do not get irrelevant tide cards.
High and low are planning context
The card summarizes the next high and low prediction and their range. It is useful for coastal plans, but it is not labelled dangerous merely because the tide is high.
Flood guidance stays separate
Tide predictions are not storm-surge or coastal-flood warnings. National Weather Service and local authorities remain authoritative for hazards.
