National and point alerts are separate
NWS active alerts use the selected point. NOAA SWPC adds significant current space-weather bulletins. Both remain separate from forecast summaries and event discovery.
State recovery is not a live warning
OpenFEMA declarations are administrative/recovery context. They can matter for a selected state, but they are never presented as proof of current local danger.
City event depth is selective
New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston and Austin use official city event datasets where available. Other U.S. cities still retain country sports, Country Now, Wikidata, GDELT and global hazard/weather fallbacks.
