Current location is fastest
The browser location button is the simplest option when you are physically in the place you want to follow. It is opt-in and only used to build the requested radar.
Place search is country-scoped
Choose a country, enter a city or town, then press Search. Results show the wider region and country so two places with the same name are easy to tell apart. Search is deliberately not autocomplete.
Coordinates are only a fallback
Latitude and longitude remain available under Advanced for technical users, but they are no longer the normal setup path.
